This blog is to help prepare the UGA 2007 Orientation Leaders for their adventure this summer welcoming all of UGA’s new students. We used to give O.L.s a packet or booklet of readings – articles, OWoWs, tips and suggestions – but that’s so 20th century. Of course, an O.L. has to be proficient at lots of things – public speaking, performing, leading group meetings, memorizing names, stuffing folders, toting boxes, etc. – so it’s our responsibility to share as much wisdom as we can before the fun begins in June. Feel free to send me any ideas on topics that should be included in this blog or just make comments on the posts.
